Travel Information

Hamilton is conveniently located in the heart of Southeastern Ontario, one of Canada's most prosperous areas. The Great Lakes and the Niagara region are within easy drives. The flight possibilities are excellent. The McMaster campus is a 45-minute drive from Toronto's Pearson International Airport. Hamilton is also served by its own international airport.

For transportation to and from Pearson Airport, we have negotiated special rates with Airways Transit ($40 per person - shuttle van - Reservation Form) and Symphony Limousine ($95 flat rate - private car). Taxi fares range from $85-$100.   Please be sure to mention "Comal" when making your reservation. If you would like to rent a car, there are several car rental agencies at Pearson Airport.

Hamilton's John C. Munroe Airport is an easy 20-minute cab ride to the downtown core or McMaster campus - cost $25-$30.

If you are driving, follow these directions up to the campus entrance and then use the campus map. The conference will be held in the Information Technology Building.

McMaster campus , which is restricted to pedestrian traffic, is at the western end of Lake Ontario. Area attractions include Cootes Paradise, the Bruce Trail, the Niagara Escarpment, the Waterfront Trail, and the Royal Botanical Gardens.
